The 170mm "Fickert-style" abrasive brush is primarily utilized on automatic polishing machines designed for ceramic tiles, engineered quartz, and similar materials; typically, each polishing head is fitted with six brushes (constituting one set). A polishing head designed for 170mm brushes can accommodate 140mm brushes; however, a head designed exclusively for 140mm brushes cannot accommodate 170mm brushes.

In addition to indicating the pores of the sieve, it is also used to indicate the particle size that can pass through the sieve. The higher the mesh size, the smaller the particle size.
