Product Introduction
The silicon carbide fickert brush is made of nylon filaments embedded with silicon carbide. It is an abrasive brush used for grinding and polishing granite, marble, ceramics, and other matte surfaces. Commonly employed in the stone fabrication industry, it is ideal for removing scratches, smoothing rough surfaces, and achieving a desired finish.
The brush head consists of densely packed silicon carbide bristles. Silicon carbide is a hard, durable material that offers excellent cutting power and wear resistance. The silicon carbide fickert brush is available in various grit sizes, allowing for different levels of abrasiveness depending on the required finish.

Used for the cleaning and polishing of granite, engineered stone, and marble; also utilized for surface texturing-including leather, sheepskin, eggshell, and textured finishes-to achieve an antique or aged effect.

Precautions for Using Silicon Carbide Fickert Brush
1. Cooling water should be added during polishing to prevent the bristles from deforming due to high temperature generated during high-speed friction.
2. As the grinding brush size increases from coarse to fine, the pressure applied to the grinding head on the brush should also decrease.
3. The skipping steps should be reasonable. Excessively reducing intermediate steps will affect the grinding effect and increase production costs.
Silicon Carbide Fickert Brush
As the grit size of the brush increases, the volume of the sand grains gradually decreases, and the grinding marks gradually lessen, until the brushed stone maintains its uneven surface while exhibiting a satin-like finish.
*The higher the mesh number, the finer the bristles. A gradual grinding process, from coarse to fine, achieves the final antique effect.
*As the grinding brush size increases from coarse to fine, the pressure applied to the grinding head on the brush should also decrease.
Features of Our Abrasive Brushes

ABS Plastic Construction
The base is crafted from high-strength, high-melting-point ABS plastic, featuring superior chemical resistance and a double-curved design. This construction ensures exceptional durability-preventing breakage during use-and enhances overall safety.

Abrasive Bristles
The bristles are composed of high-quality nylon impregnated with silicon carbide. Embedded within the bristles are silicon carbide grains featuring sharp cutting edges. Under pressure during operation, the flexible bristles bend and conform to the surface, enabling comprehensive, multi-directional abrasion of the stone. This results in outstanding finishing performance.

Product Range
We supply high-quality abrasive brushes available in a complete range of grit sizes, spanning from #36 to #800. A standard set comprises nine distinct grit levels. Ranging from coarse to fine, these brushes facilitate precise and accurate abrasion. They are suitable for both cleaning stone surfaces and achieving an "antique" or aged finish on stone materials.
