Product Introduction
Frankfurt Matte Brush is a professional stone abrasive brush mainly used for matte surface processing of marble , Artificial Engineered Stone and terrazzo. The common mesh sizes are 120 # 180 # 240 # 320 # 400#.

A matte stone finish refers to a surface treatment-achieved through processes such as brush-honing, acid-washing, or sandblasting-that results in a decorative effect characterized by low gloss (typically ranging from 10 to 30 degrees) and a texture that is fine and smooth, yet non-reflective. It occupies an intermediate position between a high-gloss polished finish (such as a mirror finish) and a completely rough, coarse finish (such as a bush-hammered finish).
Matte-finish stone: Ideal for flooring, countertops, and bathrooms-catering to a practical approach that prioritizes comfort, safety, and durability.

Usage Instructions for Matte Abrasive Brushes
Step 1: Coarse Brushing and Shaping
Begin with a steel wire brush to perform an initial coarse brushing; this removes loose surface debris and establishes the foundational shape for subsequent steps.
(Our company also supplies high-quality wire brushes.)
Step 2: Graded Abrasion
Proceed by sanding sequentially using abrasive brushes ranging from coarse to fine grit. For instance, start with a #36 or #46 brush, followed by a #60 or #80, and conclude with a #120 or #180 brush to achieve a smooth matte finish. If a finer, "silky luster" effect is desired, continue the abrasion process by incorporating #240, #320, and #500 grit brushes.
Step 3: Post-Treatment (Optional)
To enhance the surface luster, you may wipe the surface with a gloss-enhancing protective agent or perform a final polishing step. Finally, it is recommended to apply a sealant to provide protective coverage.
