How to choose 5-extra, 10-extra frankfurt abrasive?
The 10-extra frankfurt abrasive is mainly used in the final stages of marble polishing. Generally, it is recommended to use the 5-extra and 10-extra abrasives together if your machine has enough polishing heads. The suggested approach is to use one sequence of 5-extra and two sequences of 10-extra as the final polishing steps to achieve a mirror-like finish on marble surfaces.
Additionally, the color and texture of the marble slabs play an important role in determining which abrasive to choose. Most beige-colored marbles are easy to polish, and in most cases, both 5-extra and 10-extra can deliver excellent polishing results.
For dark-colored marbles, you will need abrasives with strong sharpness throughout the entire process-from calibrating and grinding to polishing. The same applies when using oxalic acid-based abrasives; greater attention should be paid to polishing quality rather than lifespan. Therefore, it is preferable to use 10-extra abrasives when processing dark-colored marble.
