What is Terrazzo?
Terrazzo is an artificial architectural decorative material created by mixing aggregates-such as crushed stone, glass, or quartz-into a binder of cement or epoxy resin, followed by surface grinding and polishing.
Its defining characteristic is a surface texture featuring a unique pattern of fragmented particles; the colors and designs can be freely customized based on the choice of aggregates. Simply put, the process involves "embedding" stone fragments into the material matrix, which is then ground down and polished to a smooth finish.

Structurally, this Frankfurt-shaped diamond grinding block features a Frankfurt design at its base, allowing it to be mounted on automatic grinding and polishing machines equipped with a corresponding Frankfurt-style mechanism. The upper section incorporates a circular, resin-bonded diamond grinding disc; this design ensures a closer contact with the terrazzo surface while also optimizing the distribution of mechanical forces. Furthermore, from the perspective of our abrasives manufacturing facility, this design facilitates our production planning.
